Known as the ''PS2'', it is a sixth-generation video game console first released by Sony in Japan in March 2000. The United States saw it later in 2000 with the SCPH-30000. Repair of this device requires only common tools, but can get tricky.

Is there a way to replace the AV Multi Out port?

I picked up an old PS2 (fat) from a thrift store and it works well except for the AV Multi Out has suffered over time. The plastic between the pins is cracked, worn and even gone in some places. Using the Psyclone cable it came with it works (albeit black and white and for how long?) but I need RCA. The Psyclone is larger than the regular PS RCA cable and has deformed the metal casing around the pins. I can pull the pins back into place and reshape the metal casing but I can't do anything about the deteriorating stability of the pins.

Is there a way to find the individual AV Multi Out piece online for sale so that I can unsolder and remove the damaged one and solder a new one in it's place?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Once upon a time, there was a site called Lik-Sang. Unfortunately Sony shut them down hard, and there has been no one to fill the void out of fear.

The best place to keep looking is in Ebay or Aliexpress. You may just want to end up buying a whole logic board to get what you need.
