Hi @themuv ,

It depends what is wrong with it.

Have you tried a different compatible charger in case your charger is faulty?

It may be just a loose charge port, which just has to be re-soldered back onto the systemboard.

I say just but you'd need SMD (surface mounted device) soldering expertise and tools to do the job.

You can check out this possibility by using the ifixit Nobis NB07 guides to open the tablet to check if this is the case.

If it is and if you cannot repair it yourself, then contact a reputable, professional mobile phone or laptop repair service and ask how much it would cost. Tell them that you have already disassembled the tablet and that you will reassemble it, as this will reduce the time taken for the repair and hopefully will reduce the cost to repair it.

It also may be a faulty battery.

Use the guide from the link above to replace the battery.

Here is a link to just one supplier of a battery that is compatible and that will fit into your tablet.

It is not a recommendation to use them. It is shown to give and idea of the cost of the battery. There may be other suppliers that suit you better.

You can use the information printed on your battery to find a replacement.

I used the following info taken from an image in the ifixit guides. i.e. 377292 3.7V 2800mAH battery.

I couldn't find an exact match of 377292 (which are the dimensions of the battery i.e. 3.7m depth X 72mm width by 92mm length) but the replacement of 357185 (3.5mm x 71mm x 85 mm) will physically fit into the tablet. The other parameters of 3.7V and 2800mAH are the same.

Hopefully this is of some help

I don't think its worth the trouble to repair.

The amazon fire 7" is about $39 USD and seems to feature more than this one does.
