Original unit stuck on startup screen
Original unit won't go past startup screen, where can I send it for repair? Oldest model. says it is starting but goes no further

When all else fails; try your last chance, the Factory Reset
You may lose all books stored in the machine.
Make sure it is OFF.
Hold the power button and the Home (ānā) key, at the same time.
It will display its actions.
Wait ... May take several seconds....
If that does not cure the problem, it is seriously broke.
Due to its age, finding a repairman will be difficult.
Some time ago, I found 'Dr.Nook' who somehow transferred everything to a PC, and copied it all to a new 'color' nook I found on eBay. GrandPa loved old cowboy stories.....
I suggest you find another working nook.
