iPhone 6 not charging after using fake cable.

My main cable stopped working, so I used backup fake cable. I used it couple of times, but one moment it didn't charge anymore. I haven't tried and don't have any other cable. Could the dock connector or battery somehow got damaged or is it the charging circuit problem?

You have to find a known-good cable, ask your friends or colleagues or just buy a new Apple original or MFi certified cable from a reputable source.

If that doesn't solve the charge problem, you could follow @tootsky3's suggestion above to replace the dock flex. Otherwise, my concern is that you damaged the charging circuit on the logic board. Where you using an Apple original charging brick?

Hey Ralf,

I think that the fake cable you have may have broken. While it is entirely possible your charging port assembly broke (fix it with this guide), it is more likely you just need to buy a new cable. This time, make sure it is a high-quality one!

Hope this helps,
