iPhone 7 Touch ID doesn't work

Hey guys,

I've replaced an iPhone 7 Display (refurbished, original LCD), but after I powered the iPhone on, I couldn't add a fingerprint anymore.

The fault indication (that Touch ID has a failure) does not appear in the homescreen, but appears if I try to add a new fingerprint.

Homebutton (still the original one) and 3D are working without any problems.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Usually it's due to the home button extension cable from the screen being faulty. You'll need to try another screen to confirm that.

Thanks, i tried another display but still no Touch ID. I used 80 degrees to get the glue off. Could it be too much and I damaged the Touch ID?

I do the same too. Don't heat up too close, too long and I heat up the glass side then the home button side a bit.
