iPhone camera not focusing well after screen replacement

Today I have (mostly) successfully replaced my broken screen on the iPhone 6s plus. Everything works except for the back (main) camera, It's not focusing. I think it might be because I might have been using excess isopropyl alcohol to clean the old adhesive. I have removed the camera, tried to clean it and put it back but for the moment it's not focusing well. How can I clean this camera? It really looks like there is dirt on the lens and that's why it's not focusing. Or perhaps I should wait for the alcohol to dry completely?

Answer this question I have this problem too

if its the slightest bit smudged or has oils (from your hand; or anywhere else) make sure you clean the inside with a microfiber cloth

if you have glasses you probably have some microfiber cloth lying around too.

Now it seems to work properly. But I was wondering, if I submerge the camera: https://eustore.ifixit.com/en/Parts/iPho... into 99% isopropyl alcohol will it clean better or break?

by

do not submerge the whole camera in alcohol. that will damage it. (I'm pretty sure. but if its working fine, leave it either way.)

some other things that should not be put in alcohol:

battery

screen

your cat

if its the back camera, has notting to do with the screen replacement , the camera is damaged and must be replaced. good luck.
