How much oil do I put inside my 2015 Honda Civic?

I just got a used car from a Certified Honda Dealership.

The dip stick is plastic and I've wiped it down with a paper towel multiple times. There's some oil on it, but I need to check it again when the oil cools to get a level on it.

I'm afraid there's not enough oil in the engine because I've been smelling a burning (rubber or oil?) from the front of my car after I've driven it.

QUESTION: How many bottles of Oil should I buy and put in my engine until I can ask a professional to help me check my engine?

Could the issue be another problem?

I've also heard a hissing sound and will check the radiator after my engine cools down for fluid.

Thanks in Advanced for any insight.

""1.8L I4 engine's total capacity for an oil change with filter replacement is 3.9 U.S. Quarts (3.7 liters)"" this would all depend on what you are doing, if you are just trying to top up then maybe you will not need all of this, but if you are gonna do a full service , oil filter etc then that would be the recommended needed amount. There can be many reasons to this, if it is recent i recommend try to take it back to the dealership and have it checked out if possible before you start spending more funds.
