iPod Touch 4G Battery Replacement/White Screen Error

Can anyone point me to a guide on the battery replacement for the iPod Touch 4G. I have done a digi/lcd replacement, and now I have the white screen issue.

I have tried resetting, which I have done in the past w/ success, but no go this time. This is my 4th screen replacement on an iPod Touch 4G in the past week, all others worked fine first time, maybe one had white screen, but reset fixed it. I have tried an additional new screen assembly, and the old one, same issue.

In the past, on 2nd gen's when I had this problem, I simply desoldered the battery connections, waited, resoldered and it fixed it.

I just want to no if there are any surprises to be aware of on the 4th gen battery, or if it's just a matter of desoldering the 3 contacts. I ask b/c the battery flex cable seems to be adhered to the logic board, and I see some small dots near two of the contacts that I hope are not attached to the logic board w/ conductive adhesive, like the 2nd gen wifi cable. Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Went ahead and did it, pretty straight forward, no surprises. But it didn't fix my white screen...restoring now.
