Where can I find a New transmission for this Murray model
There is plaque that says model number 40708X20A date of manufacture 1134 Murray Ohio MFG. Co

@ussher 40708x20A should be a 1996 mower. By transmission I suppose you're referring to the transaxle. Murray's used a Peerless (Tecumseh)Model no 930-011 for those. Here is the parts list for that PartsList(s) Take some good pictures of it and post with your question. that way we can see what you see and can probably verify that this is what it is. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. That particular transaxle/transmission was used n many different models. You can find them at time at places like this.
