left in rain for 2 weeks
i forgot my i pod 4 out in the rain for 2 weeks and i dont know what to do ????

christian crowe, Number one thing to do is to take it apart, remove the battery and do not even think about turning it on. Once you disassembled it, clean the logic board and connections with isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush, rinse it off after you cleaned it thoroughly with distilled water, make sure you remove all corrosion and debris. Let it totally dry, after that you can reassemble but DO GET A NEW BATTERY. Then you can try the trouble shooting and see what works and what doesn't. Good Luck.

oldturkey03 you left out the word "yet" - here - but DO GET A NEW BATTERY. They will need a new battery when it comes around ;) Lord knows water is the battery's Antichrist.
I am always amazed how many people hang on to their battery just to find out later on that it is not charging or not holding a charge. I found through experience that the first thing that goes is the battery, than the display than the logic board. That is also the order in which I repair the water damage to any equipment.
