Why fans are running at max RPM without need.
Hi,
my Macbook Air turns on fans at max RPM even when it's turned off.
Sometimes I touch it and fans are starting at max throttle.
I send this mac twice during warranty but service said it is ok.
Then I had about half year when it was running normally.
Few weeks ago it started again.
There are no reasons for it to run fans CPU temp are about 33C
There are no apps running. I found out that when I slowly pick it up and turn it upside down fans stops.
Do you have any ideas what could cause this problem?
I send it to service last week and they say it's running normally, when I went there to pic it up it was indeed running normally. But at home it started to run at max again.
I have installed TG Pro.
When I opened laptop it starts at full RPM in second screen you can see that even when I changed the speed manually it still is at maximum.
Is this a good question?

Can you try to catch all of the sensors as some are missing at the bottom (stretch the window). Also getting the full version might help as its diagnostics could give us a clue.
I can't tell if the tach within the fan is gone or the fan cable is damaged, or if the control logic on the logic board is bad. I would start off just replacing the fan.
