Can I leave it plugged into charger?

I am not home most of the time since I got college so I was wondering if it's ok for me to just leave the JBL extreme plugged into the adapter to charge since I have a tendency to forget to unplug it whenever I go out.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Not fully recommended, because the lithium ion battery will get worn down and in some rare occasions eventually get hot enough to flame up (if left plugged in for a long long time and the wrong charger gets used)

No! I left mine plugged in and now the battery lasts about 15 minutes. JBL should have this info all over their products. I hade no forewarning about this and now my $300 speaker is useless when not plugged in. Thanks JBL.

My Battery is so freaking bad and I always thought it was usual wear but now when I read this tread I have come to realize it was almost always plugged in

I have just came to realize that maybe JBL made a mistake on their battery’s. Just so that they were bad enough that you just naturally plugged it in and left it.
