What did I break?

Replaced battery due to water damage. Very difficult for me to get the battery out. Now the WiFi and Bluetooth no longer work. What did I break?

Well first of all, you have to address the water damage first. Have you properly decontaminated the logic board first? Are you certain that everything else worked fine after the water damage but before your repair?

If you are not certain, then there is no way to know if you caused any issues during your repair. The WiFi/BT IC is on the back side of the logic board, directly underneath the connectors at the top of the board. This is where most of the water damage occurs on the iPhone 6 so it is likely that's where your issue is coming from.

If you haven't already done so, you will need to removethe logic board and inspect it closely. If you see any water damage, you can try to brush it off with >90% IPA but there's no guarantee that will be sufficient.
