Where are the magnetic "latches" located?

In the unibody MacBook pros, there are magnets that hold the lid closed (no more moving parts). One place I read suggested that there should be two of them, one on each top corner of the display.

My brand new 2011 17" seems only to "stick" on the left side. The right side actually has a bit of a gap, making it look like it's warped (although it's hard to be sure).

Has Apple switched to putting the magnets only on the left, or am I missing one? Is this something that I can get repaired at an Apple store?

Use a bent out paperclip to locate the magnets and see if they are opposing each other. Just pass the clip up and down the edges.

The magnets in the display are intact, but apparently, something is missing from the body. I took it to the Apple Store, and they've ordered me a replacement machine.

Since it's a brand new laptop, take it to the Apple Store and show them what you're talking about. The magnets are in the top half of the display... and a second set in the unibody topcase. If one side isn't latching, you probably got a defective unit. Setup a Genius Bar appointment and let Apple take care of this one. :)
