Why are all the lights in my install mini 8 on?

When I put the new film in and i took a picture so that the black part of the film pack to come it got stuck and I managed to get it out but now when I try to take a picture the only light that is on is the one net to the hole for your eye in the back and the little number counter is stuck between the S and the 10. and I don't know what do to. any tips? or ideas?

I've tried taking out the film and it didn't work
