I have a Samsung 40 inch TV with faint white horizontal lines , someone said it maybe my gateway drivers or a bad screen , are gateway drivers replaceable model

@bigjets no they are not unless you can get to the panel, have the right equipment, and the right IC. Here are a couple of images that show the location. They are not on separate boards but on boards that are connected directly to the LCD.

Thanks a lot old turkey I really want to do it but after watching a few videos of changing gate way drivers, think I’ll trash it
@bigjets don't trash it. use it in the garage or the family room. Give it to somebody that may not have a decent TV. Or, keep it and see if you can scour a panel somewhere like craigslist or ebay etc. You said those are faint lines, so for now just keep it....;-) Whatever you are going to do, I wish you the best of luck and thanks for joining iFixit!
Hi thanks for the input , think I will keep it the lines aren’t real bad just bothersome , I like to tear apart things and even fix them once in a while, this was over my head. Cheers terry
