iPhone says its not charging?

I've replaced the charging port and checked the battery terminal while the phone was turned on with a multimeter and I'm getting 3.8 V down to 0.3V and it keeps jumping. Although the battery displays 3.67V with a voltmeter when it should be around 3.8. Is that healthy? As I can't charge my phone as it says it's not charging but detects the charger being put in.

The battery voltage is a constant 3.67V but the main terminals it plugs into are jumping up and down.

Sounds like you have an issue with the charging circuit, specifically Tristar. It could also be related to Tigris or even the PMIC (let's hope not). As for the battery voltage, it can read anywhere from 3V to 4.25V depending on it's charge state. Anything lower than 2.85 will not allow the phone to boot.

Ideally, you should have your phone looked at by an experienced micro-solderer to properly diagnose the issue as this kind of repair is not DIY.
