Kindle has not been used in a few months

It just shows the screen that says kindle fire , like it is charging... but won’t go any further.. charged overnight.. still the same.. as soon as I unplug it.. it shows the dead battery screen

@grn67cat "charged overnight.. still the same.. ""it shows the dead battery screen" sounds like a battery that no longer accepts a charge. Start with a new battery and see what you get. Use this guide Kindle Fire Battery Replacement for that
