Left side fan has a tendency to get noisy, how come?

A while ago the left fan in my macbook started to act up and make a lot of noise, so i bought a new one from this site and used the guide to change it with great success (I actually changed both fans but I don't think that's relevant to my current problem).

Now, a couple of months later, the new left fan is acting up again. I opened the case to see if dust or a piece of tape or something was obstructing it, but it all looked fine.

Is this just a case of bad luck or is this a common issue?

Edit: If I tilt the laptop almost 90 degrees, the noise stops.

What kind of noise is it making?

by

I guess I would describe it as a "whirr" or "buzz", midrange pitch, with differences in volume depending on the computers position/angle. Sometimes there's no noise at all though.

I have the same problem like henrikland .

Interesting! Have you also replaced your fan?

Not yet, because I want to be sure. And knowing you changed both, order two at a time, but first I want to know if this is the right solution.

I would check to see if there is something inside the fan or on the case that you take off. I would also reccomend spraying some canned air in there and seeing if that blows any of the junk thats in there out. If that doesn't work, I may take out the fan and inspect it and also the area it is installed in. Check for debris and anything that may look like it should be there. Hope that helps!
