I am experiencing phantom printing on my hp officejet 6500 wireless

My computer shows no print jobs on line but the printer uses all of the paper and prints a D in the upper left corner. I cancel the job on the printer but it starts again. Rebooting of the printer used to stop it but no longer does.

take a look at this site www.fixyourownprinter.com there are lots of solutions to things like this and you can also find repair manuals. bit like ifixit but for printers
