The screen is black and unresponsive, but the phone still works.

Hey, so yesterday I dropped my Google Pixel 2, and since then the screen has been unresponsive. The phone itself is actually on, as I accidentally called someone, and my alarms have been ringing all day (I can't turn them off). Does anyone know what to do or what might be wrong? Any and all help would be appreciated, thanks~!

Answer this question I have this problem too

The screen can be lose. If you use a cloth and press hard all over the screen, the screen may turn back on. I had had this happen after a battery replacement and ifixitubreakit didn't put the screen all the way back on correctly.

If you drop the phone, the screen can also become slightly lose. Pressing hard on the screen like the YouTube video shows will also fix it.

Hi,

Have you tried rebooting the phone?

Hold the power button and volume down button for about 15 seconds, this should cause the phone to reboot.

If this doesn’t work, you are likely looking at a damaged screen, and would need it replacing.
