Why my trackpad flex cable smells like burnt?

hey i have a macbook pro mid 2015 "15 , one day stops working the keyboard and the trackpad, i figured out that was a logic board damage then i proceed and changed for new one. Next of that i noticed that the trackpad flex is getting hot and its smells like burnt, i bought a new one but same result . I google it but no answers :( . Is the trackpad damaged? anyone has the same issue ? do you think that if a change the trackpad it will work again ? thanks

PD. I used to reset the smc and all of this stuff

You likely have a short in the trackpad. Did you have a liquid spill or use a cleaner on the uppercase? Thats likely why you're encountering issues. You'll need to replace both the trackpad & the cable.

I have to change the flex again? I replaced by a new one but stills heating up the flex, should I have to change it again? With the trackpad ?

I would do both as you may have damaged it as well.
