iPhone 5 blackscreen no serial number problem

Hi! my iphone 5 is having a blackscreen problem and i tried all the various methods that i know like replacing the lcd, hard reset and restoring it to itunes (restoring it to itunes got stuck on "waiting for iphone". also it indicates to itunes that it has no serial number. please help me

Try shining a bright flashlight on the screen when you connect it to the computer. If you see a dim image, then you have a backlight problem. Because you already tried a replacement screen, you're issue would then be on the logic board.

If you can't see any image at all, then your problem is probably with the logic board which would require a micro-soldering repair.

Did anything happen to the phone prior to this problem?
