I have a 13" MacBook that I have had for a little over a year. I recently cracked both my hinges but I have no idea how. I slipped on ice when I was walking to my car and it hit the ground and it got dented on the left side. I need a new shell very badly and if anyone knows where I can get one I would appreciate it so very much!

Top case has two numbers 661-5396 & 661-5590
MacBook Unibody (A1342) Upper Case
Do web searches for the best prices, iFixit does have the top case.

If you lower case is bubbling up, Apple will replace it free.

I have a MBP 15 inch and i dropped it and unfortunately the case was opened and it fell very badly it has a nasty dent -the last 3 digits of my serial number are V7L what should i do i m actually heart broken ! :(( there is also a dent on the upper lid near the screen

The whole thing, top case bottom case? Please give the last three letters of your serial number so we know which MacBook you have. Thanks

Yes both top and bottom case. The last three digets of my serial number are 8PX.
