Touch screen is overly sensitive

I replaced the front screen assembly and now when I make calls my touchscreen is so sensitive that my face causes unpredictable behavior like I am pressing random buttons like mute, keypad and speaker. Is there a setting that can be changed to adjust sensitivity?

sounds like the proximity sensor isn't working properly. to check this make call and then instead of putting phone to your face, place hand over the top 1/3 of screen. the screen should go dark. If it isn't then I suspect you haven't replaced connector 3 properly. take it out, inspect the flex for dirt and damage and also the connection itself. Then place flex back in again-doesn't have to be right up to white line, just in enough to feel resistance.

see if that helps, if not then you may have to replace the flex.
