Mitsubishi NX85 18" LCD will not light up, can it be fixed?
Can it be fixed by me or do I have to send it out for repair? Is the cost worth it?
Is this a good question?

First, I agree with oldturkey. No diagnostics lights means there's no power. Use a multimeter and test for continuity from the plug to the power supply. Look for a burned out fuse. Do a web search and see if you can find a service manual for your model. Also see if you can find anyone selling parts for your model.
Good Luck, I couldn't find the manual or parts.

I tried to go on the mitsubishidisplay.com site, you had to be registered with a password. There wasn't any way to signup and I
ended up on this site. I'm willing to try anything, this was a nice
monitor well worth saving. Ill keep looking for the manual.
Thank you for taking the time to help. Also like to thank oldturkey03
for his input.
Thanks again

Old Turkey is a wise bird. Mitsubishi does not seem to be repair friendly and does not seem to give out information easily. In this new age of consumer repair, they might do well to remember the past. Almost all the Zero aircraft they produced got shot down.
I'm going to try the NECMitsubishi site maybe they can point me in
the right direction. Didn't Sams sell repair manuals at one time?
Will keep you posted.

Dane Ruzicka, I don't mean to sound ignorant or anything but are you comfortable with repairing a monitor? It is usually cost effective to do it yourself if you are confident enough and willing to do it and learn as you go along.
