MacBook Air, 11'' 2015 Logic board replacement

Hello.

I have a MacBook Air, A1465, 11'', 1,6 GHz i5, 4 GB RAM, early 2015 model, that has a non-functioning logic board (820-00164-A).

I have found a used logic board from a 2013 MacBook Air, 11'', model A1465 (820-3435-B), 1,3 GHz i5, 4 GB RAM.

Will my MacBook be able to function with this logic board?

Thank you in advance.

Your systems specs: MacBook Air 11" 1.6 GHz i5 (Early 2015)

The other logic board: MacBook Air 11" 1.3 GHz i5 (Mid-2013)

There was no 2014 1.3 GHz but there was a 1.4 GHz system: MacBook Air 11" 1.4 GHz i5 (Early 2014)

You may want to double check things.

Hello Dan.

Thank you for your answer.

You are right. It is a 2013 board.

Based on the other posts I have read, I got a feeling that this replacement will not work.

What do you think?
