ASUS battery management software won't work with new SSD

I recently got a new laptop (an ASUS Vivobook F510ua) and installed an SSD in it. Before doing so, with the stock hard drive, I was able to use a piece of included software called "ASUS Battery Health Charging" to cap my battery charge percentage to supposedly increase my battery life.

After installing my new SSD and reinstalling the battery program, it no longer acts as though my laptop supports this battery management.

Was there some hidden partition on the original HDD that allowed the program to work? Do I need to clone my old hard drive or is there any simpler way to get the program to work?

Thanks
