Short Circuited iPhone 6?

So recently I got a iPhone 6 & ik how to replace the screen & etc the screen I had on it was unresponsive & an alarm was going off so I plugged out the battery via motherboard (possible short circuit?) After I switched the screens & tried turning the phone on the screen had no apple logo which ik both these screens worked but were unresponsive. Is it possible I damaged the phone to the point of no return?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

An iPhone shouldn't just die like that from unplugging the battery without turning off the phone or turning the screen off.

Plug the phone into a computer that has iTunes installed and see if it detects it.

Try the old screen if you haven't already. Could just be a defective screen.
