battery drain to fast after a repair on the ic

hey guys good day , i have a question i have an iphone 6 and it just been repaired due to shorted ic ( as per technician say ). he said he replaced the capacitors and etc . and after that it fix the problem but now my battery drain to fast from 100 % to 5% just about 2 hours of normal use .

well the issue why i have brought this to a repair shop because it keepa on boot loop and then when i try to connect it to compuer it wont charge but will charge on wall charger .

pl help guys

Options

Probably some components on the logic board still shorted, you will have to take it back to the technician where you got it repaired from to check it again.

Could be battery damaged, Use either one of these methods to check your battery:

Windows PC - 3UTools

Mac OS X - CoconutBattery

Using mobile app - Battery Life

If the battery is under 80% health consider replacing your battery.

hi sir ,ive ask this problem to the techncian and they said that if is shortage of any parts of logic board probably still it wont turn on or the phone is still brick and ive check my battery lif it has about 91% ,i think is it the ios 11.2.5 ? its bug ? i still dont know what the problem , because even if my phone is in idle mode it drains dramatically

A bad tristar charging IC chip can cause rapid battery drain, explain that to your technician it's a common issue after liquid damage.

You could try restoring the phone but you need to backup the phone before hand via iTunes as it wipes data, this in rare cases can fix the issue.

hmmm fyi sir this never had a water damage , it was shortage due to over charging and using the phone while charging
