Hi ya'll. Problem with a Haier washer. I haven't seen one in years. Every one that I have seen had the same problem and it was in the transmission/gear case. Expensive overhaul needed. Recommendation would be to call Haier and check if transmission/gear case is under any manufacturers warranty. If so find out who does the warranty work in your area and schedule service. If its not under warranty you might consider a new unit. This job is difficult for a qualified tech, time consuming and expensive. Now, I can't be sure without hearing the noise and being at the unit, but from my experience this is your problem.
