Hi @deanaclark1979 ,

So what happens when somebody calls your number? What indication do they get? Does the phone vibrate on i/c calls? Have you checked the phone's settings at all?

What is the problem with the video? What video, text video, download video etc. More details will get better answers.

My phone stopped ringing some of the time also. I get the voice mail only. The call doesn't even log in my call history to let me see who called. I'm pretty sure it's happened with text messages too. No vibration either :(. I did restore it about a month ago and that may be what happened.

Hi @wlksnmysol ,

I'm assuming that you can make o/g calls OK, is this correct?

Have you checked the Call forwarding setting to make sure that the settings are as you want it.

From the Call screen > Settings > Call Forwarding

Hello, yes I can make calls just fine it's just that it doesn't always have sound to alert me that I have a call and/or a text. But for it to not even list that I had a call in my call history is very strange! It doesn't do it each time either, it's selective! I can be sitting right next to it and not hear a thing. Frustrating!

Hi @wlksnmysol .

So presumably you know that you have missed a call because there is a text message afterwards saying that you have voicemail when you have been next to the phone at the time which hasn't rung. Otherwise how do you know that you have missed a call/text? Has somebody contacted you later and asked where were you? If so it is always the same person? If so then perhaps the problem is at their end and not yours.

Just trying to narrow down what is actually happening when you are "missing" calls

I found that when I went in to the call app /settings/ sounds and vibrate/ that the "also vibrate for incoming calls" was unchecked and the phone ringtone was set on "none".

I did not set it like this.... possibly an update made these settings change....?

the alcatel  smart phone: turn  phone on, then  touch  the upper top of  screen , and hold it,  the picture of speaker should show up, then if you touch the spea ker ,  it will show different choices  on, silent ,  which will activate  the

speaker to work, when speaker shows on, then  phone should ring.     I had same problem not ringing.

TCL Phone:

I went under ‘Settings’ then ‘Sound’. Make sure the ‘Alarm’ and ‘Do Not Disturb’ are turned off and not selected.

Initially, ring volume was not highlighted or able to swipe to other side.

Once I turned off; I saw ring volume was highlighted, able to be selected and swiped.
