Kickstart locked up, now won't start

So I slipped up on the kickstarter and it jammed up. I opened the crankcase and I could turn the crank with a wrench and it would go from really tight one turn to kind of tight the next. I put the case back together and still locked. I opened the magneto side and turned it backwards until it was easy to turn again. I put it all together and everything in the tranny worked because I tried to kick it a hundred times to get it started. Absolutely nothing. Did I mess up the timing or could I have blown the PEI ? And was it the reed valve that had the kick locked up and now it's damaged preventing it from starting? Any ideas on what to do or try? Thx.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is the kickstand connected to a kill switch? If so, the switch may be bad.
