Brake lights /blinker lights stay on with key turned to accessory

On my 96 Chevy c1500 350 my brake lights will turn on and not shut off with the accessory on I have cleaned the grounds checked the bulbs disconnected the brake light switch and it still stays on any advice would be helpful
