My console won't turn on (PS4 Pro) (2018)

I've had this issue too many times. This is my 5th PS4 Pro in 6-7 months, my current one still works but if my current PS4 is going to start doing this again, I'm no doubt going too GAME to either get my PS4 fixed or replaced. I haven't long bought the white PRO, maybe 2 months now I've had it. Does anyone know why this keeps happening? At this point I'm getting sick of this, I'm buying Pro's left and right, I'm getting a PC soon but my friends are on PS4 and I like the games on there. My first Pro was bought a little over a year ago, from that point I've gone through 5 more. If anyone has any advice or fixes, I would much appreciate It! But, I have a feeling I'm still going to end up going to get it fixed or replaced. I hope to not end up buying a 6th PS4 Pro.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Our son's Pro will turn on for a second and go right back off. Sent it to Sony because it's under warranty, (who is a joke of a company) and they claimed it had liquid damage. It's never had any liquids around it. I don't think they even opened it up. Sent it back to us just like it was. They have produced a piece of crap and they know it. I've had Vaio computers and Sony tv's but I've owned my last Sony product.

I'm willing to bet it's roaches. They get in there because it's warm and then they can get out and get cooked. Sony will replace this, try putting it in a location away from the ground. Also, yo could have been unlucky and gotten a bunch of bad consoles. Contact Sony and they should replace it. Good luck.

It's definitely not roaches man, but thanks for the help anyway! Yeah, no doubt I'm just having bad luck with consoles, I still have warranty so I'll see if I can get it fixed or replaced.

You have a number of things to consider if sony isn't just sending you a bunch of bad, used or refurbished consoles. Insects getting inside, Moisture, dust, faulty motherboard, bad PSU or even a broken solder joint on the APU. (Occurs from extensive hours of gameplay with improper ventilation) My best advice to you is to do the following. Purchase both a cooling stand and a dust cover. This would solve the issue of your Ps4 Pro overheating and/or dust getting inside. I myself am also taking the liberty to purchase a protective sticker to protect my ps4 from physcal damage like scratches and dents. Though, For sure, I'm going to sell my current one for a replacement since I'm currently having a problem with the disk drive and in no way I'm going to spend $123 dollars on a brand new one.

Disclaimer: Do not use the dust cover while the ps4 is powered on or in standby mode. Even though it is in standby mode, It still generates heat. Very little but nonetheless, enough to overheat the ps4 over time.

So I had the same problem. What I did that eventually fixed it was, replacing my original Hard Drive with a new one. I am using a soild state drive they are more expensive than another normal hdd, but worth it. If money is tight you can find a cheap hard drive. Now my ps4 pro is running better than ever. Hope this helps
