iPhone 6 charging but not turning on

I've had my iphone 6 for about two years and recently it has been losing its battery quicker. This morning, it was at one percent and then it died. Then I plugged it in and it has not turned on since. When I try to to do the hard reset by holding the home and power buttons, the battery symbol pops up. At the moment it is plugged in to the computer and shows that it is charging but it still isn't turning on

I would appreciate any advice,

First, change the battery and see. If the problem is not charging and battery drain fast means that some issues on phone. In that cases mostly the fault of U2 ic.

It sounds like you have a dead battery. You can replace it yourself by following this guide.
