Solid orange light and blinks once when you press a button

I have tried taking it appart and reconnecting the battery. Also all the button combinations has anyone else has this problem that it is solid orange and when you try to turn it on it blinks once.

Hi!

What type of charger are you using? The console may not be getting enough current. Try using another cable and use a power brick that can provide at least 5V/ 2A (10W).

I bought a new brick and cable from sony but it still wont work. Is it possible that i have a hardware issue

The next thing I'd suggest is replacing the battery itself. That would make your problem a hardware issue.
