Buster motherboard power button input socket.

I've tried and ultimately failed to replace the hard drive of my old g4 iBook. Reason for failure? I managed to pull the power button input socket from the logic board.

Is there anything I can do or is it good night?

Thanks in advance?

Just take it to an old repair guy that knows how to solder and spend $10-$15 to have it put back on. A young one will tell you to replace the board because they don't know how to fix it. It doesn't even have to be a Mac guy. Take it in a static proof bag.

I'll be really impressed if they could solder something that small by hand. I will have a look to see if I can find anyone in the local area.
