Will RAM from iMac A2210 work in A2111?

I have two iMacs, the newer one using 800mhz DDR2 RAM and the older using 667mhz DDR2 RAM. Having upgraded the newer one, I have 1x1gb chip left over that I'd like to put in the older imac, doubling it's memory capacity. It appears to be pin compatible .. will it work at the lower clock speed?

If you're talking about EMC 2210 & EMC 2111

The EMC 2111 uses PC2-5300 667 MHz RAM

the EMC 2210 uses PC2-6400 800 MHz RAM

These are not interchangable. Mixing RAM is never a good idea. The 800 MHz may work in the older machine but will clock down. My experience with using faster RAM in slower machines has not been good, it will sometimes work but give lock ups. But I don't think it will hurt your machine either so give it a try and let us know.
