Bought Apple Watch that seems to have water damage or screen burn

So I bought an Apple Watch from an eBay seller and when it arrived it seemed to have extreme screen burn, or it also seems to have water damage?

If I were to order a new display, would a Series 1 work?

Options

The original Series uses a different set of connectors than the Series 1 and onwards. So sadly you need to replace it with the correct part. Here's the IFIXIT guide and the parts are linked within it: Apple Watch Screen Replacement
