After a screen replacement, the iPhone turns on, but the screen doesnt

Hello everybody,

I have replaced the flex connector and the screen of my iPhone 6 at the same time. After fulkly reassemble it, I tried to turn it on and it worked great. I proceeded to charge the battery with the iPhone switched off and the screen never worked again. I have tried to replace the old screen but nothing worked. I know that the iPhone is on because it vibrates when I change the vibration switch position and also I connected it to a TV with the lightning to hdmi cable.

Thanks in advance

Turn the phone off, then turn it on again.

Shine a flash light on the screen and see if you can see an apple logo. If you do, you have a no backlight issue. That can only be repaired via micro-soldering (replacing backlight circuit components) on the logic board.

Some mobile phone repair shops offer this service.

In rare cases it could be a defective display but no backlight is usually a board issue.

Sorry for the late answer. You are right, with the flash light on the screen I can see it. I will look for a repair shop in spain offering that service. Thanks a lot!
