  • CRT's use high voltages.
  • LCD, OLED or microLED are all low voltage devices.

Yeah, but why does a LCD have high voltage capacitors and such? doesn't it just need a transformer?

You're confusing the power supply they have caps and all low voltage devices still need a power supply.
