turns off and on by itself, has a vertical line on screen

Samsung 51inch Plasma (2013) model# PN51E535A3F, it turns off and on by itself, plus has a vertical thin line, is this a "Y" sync board?, or a power supply board problem?...otherwise TV works fine. Also the on and off is interminttent, not every day.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi, the TV stays on, works fine for up to 2 hours. then powers off, then back on, then plays fine for about 5 minutes, then turns off, then back on....repeat. The vertical line is on the right side...and is almost an 1/8 inch thick...it used to be about a 1/16 inch thick. The menuTV timer is set to off.

Peter C you need to let us know if it does totally off and then back on or if it is just the screen. Single vertical bands are usually caused by a bad X-sus board. The power board will not cause those. Post some images of all of your boards as well as how the boards are arranged in the back of your set and what your display shows It might help if we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that

You also need to carefully inspect the thin flex cables that enter your panel. See if there is any area that does not look like the others. Apply some pressure on the flex cable that corresponds with the area where your line shows.
