My screen just has a lot of red & black vertical lines running up & do
Display has vertical lines going up & down.

Did this just happen out of the blue or was it following some kind of event, such as a drop, contact with water or a repair attempt?
Try performing a hard reset by holding the power button and the home button for ~10 seconds. If that doesn't help, then you probably have a defective or damaged screen. You can try replacing this yourself by following this guide.

My problem was very easy fix I did not have the LCD TAB pressed down all the way & connected. Thanks
