No sound from loudspeaker or headphones

I have a problem with my iPhone 6, and I can see numerous people before me also had this problem. I just want to have verified if it's something on the main board (audio circuit or something).

Problem:

No sound from loudspeaker or in the headphones. Bluetooth headset works fine. Tried changing the loudspeaker, and also tried to connect the flex from another phone. Nothing works.

So is this a board failure? Never experienced this before.

Thanks

Which flex are you referring to?

If you mean the Lightning/Headphone Flex and you have changed the speaker, then you probably have an issue with the speaker amp IC (U1601). Before digging through the logic board though, you have to insure that the replacement parts you tried work in another device.

An experienced micro-solderer should be able to troubleshoot this problem for you.

Hi,

Yes I check with components that I’m sure works. But I’m reluctant to think that you are right about the IC. However here in Denmark where I live, we don’t have a microsolderer unfortunately.

Thanks for your answer anyway.

Beat regards,

Carsten
