It turns off after playing a song for a few seconds

I have an iLuv bluetooth speaker that stops playing any sounds after a few seconds of being on. Should I do a test with a multimeter or there is no fix for something like this?

it is always a good idea to check things out. You do want to start with the power supply and see if that is what fails. After that check the audio IC. It might help if you can povide pictures of your speakers, boards etc. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that

Thanks, I have to figure out how to disassemble the speaker first because there are no visible screw holes, my guess is that there are behind the rubber "feets"

That's where I would start. Consider creating a guide for all of us while you work on it. https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/new

It was the power source, I tried with a spare one and it works, is there a way to fix the old one or I will be better off just buying a new one?

@diy_ post some good pictures of the old one and lets see what may have failed.
