Sony KDL-32R330B suddenly went dark, but turn off/on &see image 1 sec

The Sony went dark, still has Green light. No error codes/red lights. Audio out is ok.

Press PIC OFF on the remote, then back on and you see video for 1 second. Same if you turn power off/on.

Optical out jack is lit red.

I checked all electrolytic's on power board with ESR meter.

I get 165vdc across the bridge rectifier.

Thats it... Ideas?

@allnorsky11 either bad power board or bad backlight array. Check the power board on the connector CN8601 if you get power to the LED

Hi Old Turkey! When the LED arrays are on for about 1 second, I measure about 30VDC on theCN8601 +- but only momentarily. I've disconnected the LED supply connector, I still momentarily read about 30vdc.

Does the power supply need feed back from the array in order to remain running?

My Mother uses this about 20 hours a day. I really appreciate your input.

Thank you!

Tom

@oldturkey03 no it should not need feedback. The supply should be delivered at all times. Double check the wiring to the LCD's and see if that looks okay. Could be a power board issue.
