Hi @jimtumbo ,

Does it detect a WiFi network at all when it is placed right next to a WiFi router?

If it does it may be that the WiFi antenna is loose or has become disconnected from the systemboard.

Here is a link to the ifixit Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Motherboard Replacement guide.

It is useful because in Step.7 of the guide the antenna connection is visible. It is plain to see in Step.9 (the single wire trailing from the board)

If it doesn't detect any WiFi network when next to the WiFi router, try starting the tablet in safe mode and see if it detects and connects OK then.

If it works in safe mode it may be that a downloaded app is causing the no WiFi detection / connection problem. The trick is to find out which one.

If it still doesn't detect a WiFi signal in safe mode then there may be a problem with the WiFi controller on the systemboard.
