Not turning on after screen replacement

I got a new screen in the mail for my iPhone 6s, before starting the replacement, I turned my phone off and unplugged the battery connector from the phone itself.

After doing the screen replacement I connected all the lcd connectors to were they need to be then I plugged the battery back to the phone. Then I tried turning my phone on but got no response. I plugged it into the charger but no response, I plugged it into iTunes no response. Can anyone help me with my situation?

Could it be because of this?

Can you confirm that you plugged the battery in properly?

It's strange for an iPhone to die like this.

Did you use a metal prying tool to unplug the battery?

I used a small screw driver to unplug it but I put little force into it. I know it’s not the battery because the phone becomes warm after I hold the power switch
