Frozen MacBook air at log in screen

My macbook is frozen at the log in screen, the mousetrack wont move.

Nothing i’ve tried works, including rebooting and starting in safe mode.

I’m using it for school and have a portfolio to send! Please help!!

Sounds like your battery has swollen up. For now plug in a USB keyboard & mouse so you can get your stuff copied off to an external drive.
